With all the problems you were having restoring to factory condition was the way to go.

You can get your 150 link from your email from BH if you still have it. If not email replacecode@aol.com and tell them you are a 150 customer and need your 150 link URL and you also need your page reset because you restored your pc to factory condition.

major prob fixed..all set to go..and no where to go to..lol

ok...Homer..can I have the addy to get the 150 club page so I can get my codes..lol..also...thankz for all your help..I did learn something about win XP...seems that dell put in a shortcut to restore your comp shouls it go busted,,,lol...the tech used the ctrl+f11 at start up..while the dell logo was blue..went straight to restore...no disc needed,,,amazing..lol...

re-installed house call 6.6 again...gave me extra days...lol

your an upright man in my book here..

thats ok Homer...I wont be using the other comp anyway,,,lol...its didnt have win98 on it,,it had XP Pro...but thats been deleted...now I cant even get the old comp running...corrupted OS on HD and no way to formate it. I am just in a quandry, the best bet is to sleep on it...go to my friends shop...use his newest XP and re-install the thing...lol...that way we know its a workin again...lol....

I aint gonna get the badges this week,,,,unless I use a friends comp....lol...while he's workin....he wont even know it....

I wouldn't recommend running Windows 98 since it is no longer supported by Microsoft. Not to mention you might find some of your autos won't work with 98.

nothing is working..I tryed to play pogo..wcs and every time I open a room...it closes internet exp....now aint that some chit...lol


I tryed several pogo games...same chit...looks like a tech is gonna have to look at this tomorrow...or some time soon...lucky I have a  comp in the other room...all I need do it formate the HD with XP and go from there...lol wish now I didnt take off the win 98 os on the other comp..

I don't know what is causing your problems have you scanned it with a good AV/Spyware program?

I did all that homer...but alas..nothing...and I mean nothing,,...lol...at least the browser works..I just have to go to start..favorites to access this site...and all my other favors...lol..and I am still lookin for a way to download...something..anything..to see it work again...lol

It sounda like somehow your toolbars are turned off. You should be able to turn them back on by right clicking on the browser where your toolbars were. A menu will popup. Just put checkmarks next to the ones you want turned on.

I had to go to restore to fix a small problem today in explorer..was still getting the "stackover flow at line:77".

figured that would solve that problem..after the restart from restore I went to open the explorer ie7..and all my tool bars went missing..I cant download anything...nothing..download has fell off the earth on this comp..

tryed to restore back to oct 1st...same problem..I went to microsoft to try and download ie7 again...no go on any downloads...


any suggestions as to what else I can do..

I really dont know much about comps..but can hold my own ..sometimes...lol
