I also make sure that the badge has the most tokies I can get as well as working towards rank... in that 2007 challenges have way more tokens even if I have done them 2 or 3 times than to redo a 2003 challenge. BTW: it is going to give you the page that says you have won a badge after you have completed the challenge but you really have not - It will just show a x2 or x3 next to the challenge in your book and will not raise the amt of badges you have won  :(

I just pick and choose badges to do again, generally ones on games that I am working on rank badges.
