Well changing over to the red puck made the difference. I got the last 3 of my 10 in only 20 mins. Sure did beat the 5 hrs I tried before.

Perhaps they should mention this over on the Bumper page, Homer. Many thanks for this hint.  :/\

Free, maybe because one of the pucks will have to be the last one to go, and the last is better? Thats the only thing I can think of, so you can hit the other colored puck off the numbers.

Aha! Perhaps this is why I have had 5 hrs and only 7/10 - I had red puck. This is not mentioned anywhere on the Bumper page but I will try that.
