Homer,
You had asked about the ads and was anyone having any problems. I have noticed one new thing. I am hearing a "Congratulations, you have won a free Nano Ipod". It has happened a couple of times now. I haven't clicked on the ad, it just annouches it. I have looked on the screen and the ad for the Ipod is there. Is it just an automatic thing?
Have a great day.
Sassy

I've heard it also. That is normal. It doesn't appear very often.

I told "Alfed" that between me, my kids and my parents, we own 8 Dell computers and have never had a problem with any of them until now and that I am so disgusted I may never buy another one.  He said something to the effect that all computers now come with Vista and unless I have one built, I have no choice as to which operating system I use.  I said, "Oh, contraire, my friend.... my next computer will be a MAC."

>:((

Had a guy from Dell call me to renew my warrantee.  I have 10 or 12 Dells so I'm not sure which one he called about but he "reminded" me that my warrantee was about to expire and asked me if I would like to renew.  I told him that I would not have bought the first year if  it was an option.  He asked me why and I said that Dell had lousy support (that's the PG rated version of what I said anyway).  He said "I take it you have had a bad experience with Dell Support."

I really wanted to say "Hey, you're smarter than the average telemarketer."

You should have told him you would renew your warranty for 10 years just so you can torment him!   !@#$

Frustrating? Try calling Hewlett Packard and talking to a tech who has a foreign accent and you can't pronounce their name after you write it down.  :)) He kept reminding me exactly how many days I had left on my warranty. One of the times I had 111 days left...last time I was down to 89 days.  := I think the tech is standing there saying.."Is this lady's warranty ever going to expire?"  :///
Still no computer.  !@#$
