I have Vista and mine are working fine your problem must be unique to your pc. Try doing a system restore back to when you didn't have problems

I've done all that... it's after I click "allow" that it just suddenly stops working.  It's doing it for all the programs, not just the ones that have updates.  I have no clue what's wrong.  I think Vista has installed some updates since the last time I used my autos but otherwise, I haven't done anything differently to my computer and all my programs worked before.  Have there been any other Vista conflicts?

There isn't an actual zip file as far as I can tell. I download backspin.exe and when I run it, it brings up the splash screen that has the website and "CONFIGURED TO WIN" and the Setup/Cancel/About buttons.

get rid of the zip file you don't need it after installation

I can't open them to see if I have the latest version so I just downloaded Backspin from the main page.  I right-clicked -> Open as Administrator, it brought up the Win Zip Self Extractor screen then promptly crashed again. :(

I made sure the file wasn't marked as Read Only (something I found in one of the threads here) but that didn't appear to work either.

Make sure you have the latest versions and make sure you right click them and run as administrator

I tried doing a search so I apologize if this has been addressed previously!  Whenever I open up an auto, it immediately crashes and I get the whole "This program has stopped working" error in Vista. They are autos that worked before and I have already registered.  I "bought them all for $150" awhile back but I'm wondering if I need my passwords reset so I can re-download the autos or if it's a Vista thing.  I haven't used them in quite a few months so they're probably mad at me for being so neglectful. :(

Thank you!
