OK this will probably sound dumb but whats the difference between a soft & hard boiled egg?  They're both boiled til done & even a hard boiled egg isn't really hard except for the shell.  Right?  :)))   :-[

That sounds like something I would of asked. bubblegum.gif

That's because you try to hard boil eggs by hiding them in your meatloaf.  :)))

Add water into a pot, the water should be one and a half eggs high. Turn the heat onto high.

When water is at a rapid boil, carefully place the eggs in the water-make sure to not break the eggs!

Wait for 2 minutes

Rotate the eggs.

Wait for 3 more minutes.

Turn off the heat and remove the egg, place it on an egg holder if you have one (if not, a shotglass works well or a small bowl or even a tea cup). Just make sure not to use your hands, as the egg is very hot.

Take a spoon and open the more round side of the egg, peel, add salt and pepper, and enjoy.

Does anyone know how to successfully make soft boiled eggs? I have tried many recipes and so far they all turn into hard boiled ones  :(
