If you are just using it to get your badge, try what dream faerie said. I do this on all these sorts of games and there are always people wlling to help, if not in one room then in another.

i have try it on win 98, does not work, and no instruction how to use it, i just may not using it right

OK, I just  changed my PC to original, the backgammon program was working  pretty cr**py before, I'll tell you all if  it works good on my PC after I've tried it thanks

If that didn't work for you your likely gonna have to wait for the next update. Estimated time according to badgehelp on the next update is approx 2-4 weeks.

Did you see the statement below on the badgehelp site? The program is still in the very early stages (Alpha). Badgehelp released this version to try and help users with the backgammon badge this week. It works for some people. If it doesn't work for you read below and if it still doesn't work you'll probably have to wait for the next update. ;)

This is an alpha version. The only reason we are releasing this is the present challenge. It seems to work well with 98/ME/2K. There are problems with XP and AOL. Please email me with feedback on it. If it doesn't work with XP, change your desktop appearance from XP style to Windows Classic. If you don't know how to do this, here is a quick guide:

Right click on your desktop
Click PROPERTIES
Click APPEARANCE
Under WINDOWS AND BUTTONS click WINDOWS CLASSIC STYLE and then click APPLY and then OK. You should be good to go.

There is still another 2 weeks to put into this project. It only wins about 20% of the time. We are putting better AI into it. Estimated time to a full version is 2 weeks to a month. If you are happy with the way it is now and want to register it, look below

I noticed that the cheat for backgammon keeps coming up that something is missing any ideas??
