- January 15, 2005, 03:02:33 PMI believe error code 42 appears when you first start the game. In my experience with this if you just click the start game button it should start working. ;)
Perhaps the name you were thinking of is Homer? 8)

~~i just bought the pinochle player, registered, worked fine at first, next day i keep getting error code 42. =unable to find game.
i have explorer 6, updated java, resolution small=1024/, an smooth scroll off. wondering if anyone knows why my comp is not recognising the auto today, when it worked fine yesterday. and i do clean cookies/temp/an cache/ daily.
---also quick aquestion to bill or omar?(i forget name) when i bought pinochle player, does that come with the counter also? my counter has a different code then the player, an i emailed you back with counters number. know your busy, so no hurry on that, but would really like to know why this Error=42 , keeps coming up.
