Hi all i had the same problem and this is what pogo said and it works  :D

Please reinstall your game, after you install Adobe Reader

That only works on Vista, if you have XP or another OS then you don't have to do that.

I looked in my file for Diner Dash and this is what I found. I don't know if it will help or not. I think you need to contact Pogo.

1.1 REQUIRED SPECS

Diner Dash® Family Style™ requires an IBM PC or 100% compatible computer, with a Pentium III 600MHz or better processor. Your computer must have at least 256 megabytes of RAM.

Operating System: you must be utilizing Windows 2000, XP, or Vista with DirectX 7 or later to play Diner Dash® Family Style™ on your system.

Controls: a keyboard and a 100% Microsoft compatible mouse are required.

Sound: you must have a Direct X certified sound card installed.

Video: you must have your desktop set to 16-bit or 32-bit Color (256 Colors will not work).

Hard Drive: you must have a hard drive with at least 35 MB of free space.

Browser: you must have Internet Explorer 6.0 or later to play Diner Dash® Family Style™ on your system.

Diner Dash® Family Style™ requires you to have DirectX 7 or later drivers installed. These are sound and video drivers from Microsoft used in many games. If you need the latest version of DirectX, go to http://www.microsoft.com/directx.

2.2 SCREEN COLOR DEPTH
----------------------

Diner Dash® Family Style™ requires you to be running in 16 bit color or better. It may not function in windowed mode properly in 256 colors. If you are running in 256 colors, the game will try to switch to full-screen mode.

In addition, the game may run slowly in windowed mode in 32 bit color. If this occurs, switch to full-screen mode, or change your color depth to 16 bits.

Just for the hecksy of it, try starting it by right clicking on the shortcut and running as administrator.

All my deluxe games if I click the exe file of the game in its folder it will open and play.Diner Dash says the application is no good.I think if someone would send me the exe file of theirs it would work
