girls22.gif  Hmmmm, sounds like a good plan Mayhem.  My computer has a sinister sense of humor, makes me do it's own work and lays back with an evil eye watching me stumble through.  I hear an ominous snicker when I make a mistake and doesn't even compliment me when I do get it right (by accident).  When there's a new java download available it threateningly shows me on the bottom task bar.  Then when the download's complete, I have to go in and delete the old javas.  Cranky Bell computer, isn't it?  So if I get rid of the icon on the bottom task bar, where will it show me when there's a new java download or will it just download itself somewhere within it's evil bowels without my even knowing it?  Thanks for your input everyone ''' what a GREAT site!!

That icon just clutters things up and it's annoying.

If you want to turn it off, go to : Control Panel / Java / Advanced / Miscellaneous

Uncheck "Place Java icon in system tray" and hit Apply.

Means you either have two java games open like double browsing or maybe you had to refresh the game you were in and if you mouse over the icons one will disappear...anyway, doesn't mean anything bad.

girls22.gif  Ohhh you're a good man CrazyMan ''' strange I've never noticed them before ''' but then I'm always missing stuff ''' must be the bright lights in here, lol.  TY TY!!

I used to get that alot. As Crazy says, just set your curser over it and it will go away.  Sometimes, when I close my browser window the java icon will remain, but again, I just roll my curser over it and it goes away.
