I've wondered about this.  I don't have a credit card and would like to buy a couple deluxe games.  Has anyone used these prepaid credit cards to order from Oberon before?

Yes, I do all of my online shopping with a prepaid card. I also have it linked to my paypal so I can use it through there too.

That must be super stressful, try buying like a 25 dollar prepaid giftcard ( visa/mastercard) can get that at most local supermarkets , takes any chance of being overcharged away ... hope this helps shocked.gif

There is nothing wrong with the games hon. It sounds to me like there was an issue with your internet connection.

I have purchased several games from Oberon and have never had a problem. The multiple charges that others have talked about are glitches; not deliberate attempts to rip people off.

Have you tried Big Fish Games? I bought a one year package from them so that games will only cost me $6.99 and they are the same games that Pogo has

I've done well with Oberon.  I think there must be another issue at hand.

I downloaded a trial version of Samantha Swift then purchased the full version online through Yahoo Games. They charged my credit card, but I was unable to activate the game. The error message read: "You have to be connect to the internet to continue." The problem is, I was connected to the internet. Tried Firefox and Internet Explorer and got the same error message. I called Yahoo, but was redirected to Oberon Media. I sent an email, tried to call, tried to search out a solution, but found nothing. I want to get my money back. I will NEVER buy another game from Oberon Media.

I'm contacting my credit card company tomorrow morning.

I'll keep you posted as to what happens.....

Greetings,
I have had nothing but good luck dealing with Oberon Media.   I made a duplicate purchase and Customer Service exchanged the duplicate for another game.  I have gotten into the habit of savings all my Purchases...it really does pay off.

Good luck with your gaming,
S1lent
