Hi all, this is too cool, Omaha rocks!!!! And its coming to Pogo!!!
http://www.pogoalpha.com/game/gamesel.jsp?site=csmm
Omaha is simillar to holdem... but you get four start cards instead of two. The flop, turn and river are the same, as are the betting increments. The difference is you use 2 of your start cards and three cards from the board only, so if you got AAAA for you start cards, you could only use two of them... and two would be wasted, plus they would be "used up".
AAKK would be better, (preferably suited) and you could use any two of them to make best hand plus three on the board.
Since you can only use three cards on the board, you cant get flushed out... If you had one spade (ace spades) in your start hand... and 4 or 5 spades showed on the board, you would NOT have an ace hi flush.
So no more having to fold three aces or a str8 because Pogo cant shuffle the cards   ;)
Its a great poker game, I think much more challenging than Holdem...(Although I love holdem too) with a lot more hand options. If you can play Omaha well, you will be feared in Holdem...

This was reposted from a site that I dont know if it would be appropriate to name here... So I will err to caution...
So my anonymous thanks to that person for letting me know, as I wouldnt have seen that its coming  :)
