I'm actually considering buying one. The green sign would match the trim on my house, too! My mother will be so miffed when she sees it.

We must think alike, DLL, I said the same thing to Stinky. I have family like that, too, Stinky... where they don't choose words more carefully. Family is so tough to live through sometimes. I know.

- May 11, 2009, 10:39:34 AMI spent Mother's Day just like I have the last 7 weeks - at the nursing home with a mother who does not have a clue who I am til I remind her. Then remind her 20 mins later.....then...... It was so sad that I told my own kids that I would deal with them and Mother's Day sometime "in the future" and went to my room and watched Twilight - very little to do with Mother's in that movie. Yet another good reason to watch. I feel like I am in a bad version of Groundhog Day but did manage to find time to be thankful that at least I had a reason to celebrate Mothers Day. I am sorry Stinker that your day was what it was - but I for one am thankful cuz in spite of her you turned out to be a very special person!
On the other side of the coin, I have always thought that if they only had one day.....just one lousy day a year that we could forget that we were mothers.
