DLL....Katye was telling us her checkbox was grayed out and she was unable to uncheck it...........so I dont know how to tell her to fix this.
Katye......I did some google searching and there were some responses on a few different sites that say you can turn off java updates in your registry...but I dont feel comfortable telling people to edit their registries because it can really mess your puter up if you type in something wrong.

Mine is greyed out the check mark is there but have no way of removing the check mark if I could send you a picture I could show you . I also have vista

This makes more sence the message she is getting is she needs to have a older version of Java ... ok Will get her to try it . I tried to change the auto updater on mine and it's greyed out how do I do it ... I need to know what I am doing before I tell her how to fix it ?

she did and it still doesn't help And I do not live where she lives so I can't help her If I could see her machine I would know what's going on .

I got my cousin a year of pogo , but she can't get her java to work finally I told her to download Firefox she did and it still dosen't work right she has to click three times on a message the message says she doesn't have Java but she does because when she click ok 3 times pogo works for her I got her to do everytihing I could think of now I am at a loss she checked for Virus nothing and spywear any help would be appricated .She also went to pogo page for help did what they said still don't work right .
