I'll have to try this. Sounds good and it will wipe the smile off my son-in-laws face when he says (as usual every holiday)...."I came to get some of your famous home-made Stove Top Stuffing" giggle2.gif

Reminds me of the Saturday Night Live skit with Alec Baldwin.

"People just love my Schwetty Balls!"

Stuffing Balls

1 large loaf bread  (I use 1/2 white and 1/2 wheat)
1 can cream of chicken soup
2-3 stalks celery (chopped fine)
1 medium onion (chopped fine)
1 1/2 sticks butter

Rip bread slices into pieces into large mixing bowl. Melt butter in skillet, add chopped celery and
chopped onion. Simmer till medium soft. Add 1/2 can of cream of chicken soup to celery and onion mixture. Stir well. Pour over ripped bread pieces. Mix well. Form into 2-3 inch balls and put into a
9x13 baking dish. Mix the other 1/2 can of cream of chicken soup with 1/2 can of water. Pour over stuffing balls. Cover and bake for 30 min. Remove cover and bake for 5-10 min. longer.
