But this is serious folks. While our esteemed leaders in Washington are haggling over Homeland Security, Health care reform and taxation (without representation) ((oops...sorry)), we have the formidable task of setting the standard for our future generations. Really, right now, who cares what you call it. Two Thousand Ten or Twenty Ten. But fast forward just one measly hundred years. Now our grandchildren or great-grandchildren are living in the year 2110. Do they call it Two Thousand One Hundred Ten or Twenty-One Ten. or maybe like Stinky says, they'll just call it 110. So if you were thinking that this wasn't a serious subject.....think again. What we decide here may affect our future leaders, maybe the way scientists look at things in the future. It might just affect the whole world.
