My uncle used to toilet train his cats.  They used the regular toilet all the time.  I tried to train my adult cat to use the toilet using a toilet device to get her used to going to the commode for her needs.  All went well until I arrived at the point where the device was to be taken away.  By then she was supposed to go to the commode out of habit and just do her business.  Well, after removing the device, she used my bed.  End of the story:  new mattress, old kitty litter box.

No sorry Homer, but I have thought about teaching my cats how to use the actual toilet.  undecided.gif
