With badge books, you can buy them without using gems.  You would use a debit card to pay for them.  Of course, they cost a bit more but you can.  The only way you can buy M&M badges is to cough up the money for gems.

Only way to get albums is to use gems or cash..Tokens are useless except for mini items..I wish we could use tokens but Pogo is a money business so we all have to buy our albums and extra badges.. sad.gif
