it wont be till sometime in 2006 that longhorn comes out and its been pushed back may times.........i would go ahead and update to windows xp . its gonna be ok for a few more years anyway.......i personally do not liked upgrades, if it were me i would reformat the hard drive and do a full install. might cost more but works better and less problems in the long run........

See tghat is my point , fine tune the upgrade of XP,,,,,Because it is running off the Me platform,,microsoft should have just let us have the fix for ME,, they know it was junk.... But i did not ,, and did not know that Xp was on the way out , Got my comp 3 months before XP come out....So now i got some thinking to do,,, turn it some credit card points for a $50,00 best buy gift card , and purchase XP upgrade ???? HMMMMMMM,,,Or wait till new OS comes out?????Also if i ever have to reformatt ,,, Then i gotta re-do the XP disc to,, Right?

Upgrading to XP is quite easy and cost me $80.00 --well worth the price--I Am waiting for a new OS before I  buy another Comp.--My luck I bought an ME comp 2 months before XP came out---but it all worked out ok--my brother-in-law is a programmer and he helped me fine tune my upgrade--lucky me O0

Because the upgrade cd is cheaper than the full version of XP. I never said you were a pain. I am simply informing you of the facts.

The programmers are moving away from the older operating systems like 98 & ME. Not to mention Windows Longhorn will be released next year.

So I guess if your going to run the autos you will need to upgrade at some point. BTW, XP upgrade cd's are on Amazon for under $80

Does anyone have problems using auto's  with the window me O.S.,,I was told i need to upgrade my O.S.,,,,But i just can't see paying $200.00 , and the time , just to get over on pogo.
