- June 23, 2012, 10:12:43 AMWell.. "so much for THAT idea ! "modifying" the file folder name, 'corrupts' the files requiring re-installation... so IF the 'newer version' fails to operate properly, the 'old version' is GONE TOO ! 
Just 'tried' with Rainy Day Spider Solitaire & the SpiderFighter ver 6.7...
same ole Please start game - Can't find window... and BH Downloader error... check for latest version...
'Starting the Auto' "resizes" the window to 'full screen', and the 'auto' doesn't 'recognize' the open window...
Tried BOTH ways... with my profile 'options' set to "Open in a new window" AND with that 'option' turned-off !!!

It now has better intelligence and plays much better

I know... I can see that in the forums...
regarding the A/V - had been 'using' Norton till around 2006, first just the anti-virus, then the Internet Security package. Had been having 'issues' at another web-site, 'falsely identifying' one of its 'program routines' as a 'threat' ! Switched to a 'free' A/V program (now using AVG) that seems to provide all the necessary 'protection'.
BH was having some instances of 'false threat warnings' and created the "BH Downloader" to 'get around' this... and later 'fixed' / 'modified' its downloads to eliminate 'false warnings' when downloading (so my own use of their 'downloader' was very limited... instead just downloading directly from the web page).
Granted... when an existing 'auto' fails to work, can check 'BH Downloader' for most current version OR BH web page for any 'news' about updates. BEFORE downloading anything 'new', "modify" the 'auto's' BH program file... THEN, IF the 'auto' STILL doesn't work, you can delete it & restore the earlier version for use in other Pogo locations (i.e. Pogo UK). That still requires 'extra work' to accomplish !
When Pogo first began introducing its 'embedded' games, many players were 'complaining' about them in the Pogo forums. Couple weeks later, Pogo added an 'option', for Club Pogo members to 'select', which opens all such games in a "new window" ('sized' similar to the game window in 'non-embedded' games).
I've never been a 'big fan' of EA/Pogo... "profit" seems to be its ONLY 'motivation' !!!

BOTH the game window & the BH HitMe2 windows are "flashing" alternately,
and seeing 'yellow lines' through the game window as it is flashing !!!
Seems to be 'slowing-down' the game... only got about one-third (1/3) the "21's" in the "Bonus Round" as before...
There's a new challenge badge (Yee-haa ! Badge - earn 600 tokens) starting later today !
Note that my Pogo profile "settings" include "Open Games in a Pop-Up Window" !!!
#1 reason I know longer update a Badgehelp program, and delete it instead if it no longer works, is because of what you just described here.
I refuse waste a second to turn off my AV to d/l, or resize my window, to use any "cheat" program.Just earned my badge using Hitme2 version 3.8 on the UK side in 1 game, and in under 1 minute.

Most of the "old school" badge help customers just no longer even bother trying to update a BadgeHelp program anymore.
The simple truth is that it was not the customers that left, it was the sites owners, over 2 years ago.
My motto is, if it don't work, just delete it and look elsewhere for badge helpers.

Hitme worked just dandy on the UK side of pogo to earn the badge but, I used version 3.8?

Am using Windows XP & Google Chrome...
Have the Turbo21 game window open... When pressing the "Start HitMe2" button, the game screen 'stretches' to the bottom (covering the task bar) and the "BHDownloader.air" error message appears... 'program NOT finding game window' !
What can I say ? ... Ridiculous ???
