So I found a new distraction. Fun for me, bad for work so it's a good thing I'm the boss, although my being a writer pretty much leaves most of the work in my hands, literally.

Anyway, it's The Simpsons: Tapped Out game (free app on iPhone and iPad.)  It's sort of like the Sims game only a lot more fun because it's The Simpsons and who doesn't love Homer, doh?!  I didn't get it when it first came out and then they took it down because it was so popular but it's back, I remembered to get it, and I've been rebuilding Springfield ever since.  I'm adding friends left and right because the more friends you have, the more points and money you can make throughout the day which helps advance you the next level. So if anyone here is playing and needs a new friend, just add nancalmei and I'll add you right back.

It'll be a few levels before one of your quests is to add 2 friends but you can start adding from the first day, and here's how:
When you're in the game, at the bottom right corner you'll see a picture of Bart & Milhouse hugging, that's the Friends button, Tap it once and let it load
Click on 'Add a Friend' (should be the barren Springfield on the right)
You'll have various options to add your friends (Facebook, Gmail, iPhone Contacts) but to add someone using their username, just type their username in the 'Find Friends in Origin' search box and then click Go (orange button)
When that person's username comes up just click on Add and your friend request will go through
Once they accept you their Springfield will show up on your screen whenever you click on the Friends button and you can enter and search around each of your friends' Springfield once every 24 hours to collect points off their houses and stores (you can even vandalize the school if you get the spray can)

I know, I know, I'm into it way too much.  girl5.gif
