I was playing high stakes poker.  Won a pc in there.  I switched to squeliches to get another PC in there.  High stakes poker worked great.  I clicked on a room for squeliches and pogo says I need to down load java.  I was just using java 2 seconds prior playing high stakes poker.  WTF?

I'm using firefox if  that makes any difference...
I also use FF and it happened to me. I just refreshed the game I was in and so far it hasn't done it again but probably will lol

This happens all the time to me on Chrome, Firefox and Explorer.  I have no idea why, everything is up to date but if you simply refresh the page it almost always goes away and loads properly.
Same here (although I only use FF). A refresh of the page and it works...also just close the pop up that talks about downloading Java and just click play now and it works most of the time.

The funny thing is when you go into the Pogo forums and see that tons of people are having the same issues, the people there blame it on the user. Sorry, I'm somewhat anal about keeping my computer up to date with Flash, Java and the like. I know it's not my computer (especially when it occurs on two different computers) and when 100s of other people have the same issue. But rather than fix the problem, it's always easier to blame the user when you don't care about customer service and only care about advertising and money.

That happened to me once last week.  I closed the browser and reloaded a fresh page and I didn't have the problem anymore.  I was using Chrome.
