His suffering is over and he is being welcomed home.  A great man with many humanitarian accomplishments, he will be missed.

Today is a very sad day indeed.  :'(   I haven't slept since they first announced he was in serious condition, so now I'm going to try and rest before Mass.  I know he is resting in peace and finally with the Lord.

it has just been confirmed by the vatican that pope john paul II has passed away.may he rest in peace :'(
