I've been having good luck with Java Version 7 Update 9

Seems ok

Maybe change Browsers...IE, FF or Chrome?

It's been running really smooth, for now, as you say but I'm sure it'll be back to the usual in a few weeks, maybe less.  sad.gif

I have 7 v9 and still get the popups telling me to install Java. Glad it worked for you though (for now).

One of the reasons Java is updated is for security purposes. I used to use a very old Java for a few reasons until it allowed a virus through.

Im like Gran, im still using java 6. but they ocassionaly want me to update, but i will not as it is working just fine. So for now ill keep it as ong as i can.  giggle2.gif

I'm on Java 7 Update 9 but, yeah, I'm with you, if it ain't broke don't go anywhere near it because we all know how 'sensitive' Pogo's been lately.

I am using java 6 update 35 with no probs...I guess I am wayyyyyyyy behind..lol...but if it aint broke I aint messin with it.. giggle2.gif

Every time I have a Java error I assume it's Pogo being an ass but I check it nonetheless to see if everything is running normally and it's up to date.  Every single I time I get the answer that all is well.  Then this morning I go to play Pogo Bowl and I keep getting a loading error on Pogo saying that my Java's not working.  After 30 minutes of trying to get around this I decide to uninstall Java and when I go to reinstall it the Java page says that it's on update 9, my old Java was 7.  Why oh why has it not been updating when I've been manually been going in to update and every time it told me that I had the latest?!

Anyway, if any of you have been having similar issues with Java you're just going to have to uninstall and reinstall otherwise you're probably not properly updated because Java lies. diablo.gif
