I dont accept private chats from ANYONE.that includes pogo staff.so dont waste my time or yurs trying.I come here to play games and relax. IF i wanna chat i will be doing so in main chat.
I know that sounds rude lol...but some people just like to be annoying i guess..

- April 13, 2005, 05:41:55 AMLmao!!! What we are not allowed to decline Private Chat invites without fear of being booted!! Well, I guess they should change their help section in regards to Private Chat: If you don't want to private chat with someone who is inviting you, simply click the [Decline] button when you're asked if you'd like to join their Private Chat.
If you don't want anyone to invite you to a private chat, simply put a check in the 'Decline all private chat invitations' box and click the [decline] button. This setting doesn't save between rooms or visits to the site, so you'll have to do this each time you enter a room to keep people from inviting you.
If you want to accept the invitation you just got, but prevent future invitations in that room, put a check in the 'Decline all private chat invitations' box and then press the [Accept] button.
To turn off the 'decline all invitations' feature, just leave the room and come back in again.
I think the top-dogs must of handed the little men a tin badge and 25 cent whistle and now they are feeling a sense of importance.

- April 13, 2005, 04:15:58 AMWEIRD....when I have my chat turned off while in a room I dont get a "private chat invite". So there is no way POGO can use this method to detect auto use. :P

I would like to get rid of some of my tokens but even if you cash in some it still tells how many you've earned total in your profile. I just like using the autos for the badges. ;D

- April 12, 2005, 09:14:54 PMThe auto Private Chat decline would be a nice little toy..And just for the record the logic part of the Private Chat Invite thing was only to players where it was obvious that they were on auto, for instance..one screenname had won 598 games, lost 0..I mean come on how obvious can it get, so it's their own fault for using the auto so carelessly and just being in the wrong spot at the wrong time.

That logic doesn't seem too sound. What if you have the chat off? What if you have the window moved down so that you only see the game area? (I often do this when I'm playing a game and watching something on the media player at the same time...)
Sounds like someone on a power trip. I'd report them for abuse...

I tired different speed setting as well and getting the bonus tokens. ;D
