LOL, tx, Mayhem.  My dog is approx. 13 years old (rescue dog - not sure) and has recently decided that I should be up and about by 3 am.  This dog, who I was not sure knew how to bark when I first got him 12+ years ago, has begun barking in my face and then doing a tap dance on the floor to get me up.  I've tried talking to him... it's no use.  Dog for sale:  cheap!  LOL
