It finally stopped on Friday morning, and then we got another 1.5 inches Saturday. So of course it's started back up again this morning. :(

It's finally slowing down seeping into the house, should be stopping by tomorrow. More rain expected this weekend though.  sad.gif

Not in the least. If it didn't rain for 2 months straight, I'd be okay with that. No rain means no 16 hour days vacuuming water...no one in their right mind would wish for that.

Been there...done that back in April..record rain...20" in one day...roads washed out etc...It sucked!!!!!

We are already at double our normal amount of rainfall for this time of year. I've been vacuuming water up in the basement for 3 days and it's actually getting worse, not better. The worst part? I live on a hill! Not in a flood plain. Upper midwest is where I'm from if anyone is wondering. Please, some of this rain can be sent out west or down to West Texas.  sad.gif
