Nothing was detecting it on his computer, so we finally called Geek Squad since he bought it at Best Buy. The people at Geek Squad said it's a malware and it took them an hour and a half to remove it, remotely.

Thank you! Can he run that without buying anything, and will Kaspersky interfere with it?

It's free, don't have to purchase anything and Kaspersky shouldn't interfere with it.

You can do a system restore and go back to a date before it was loaded. If it's been a while, however, you'll lose whatever else was downloaded or updated since then.

Use Norton Power Eraser - no installer, just an exe file that will get rid of embedded and difficult to remove crimeware.

I wish I had advice for you, Stinky.  I hate those programs that hold a system hostage!  HATE 'EM!  I'll peek around and see if I can find something.

So, we're at my dad's house and he's had some computer problems. After fixing issues with his google toolbar, we discovered Fast Clean Pro is on his computer and when you turn on the computer a pop up comes up asking if he wants to allow Fast Clean Pro to make changes. When we try to uninstall it we get a pop up asking if we want to allow  ASAP Tech LLC to make changes, and if we click no it closes and won't uninstall. According to what we can see, ASAP TECH LLC is related to Fast Clean Pro.

His comp came with Kaspersky, and doing a quick scan we saw the program scanned but not flagged. Any ideas on how to remove it?
