Yes, mine does the same too, it gets stuck at the gates. The new auto was supposed to have that problem fixed but apparently it still gets stuck on those dumb gates. The picture the auto has of the puzzle is always different than the puzzle itself so maybe that is why they get stuck. Don't know the answer but I'm sure the experts here will try to find out one. Just give them a little time- they are probably busy with all the other autos on the new games people want pronto. Good luck.

im with you beanie.  i have the current auto for the game and have the same problem.  it still hangs up on some of the gates like the old one did but i just grin and bear it.  i never leave an auto unattended anyhow and found i have to play some of the gates.  but it sure beats having to play all the game myself.

i do have a question for the programmers though.  is there anyway to slow down the speed that the auto completes the speed round?  i can set the main round play to play at the same speed i do,  but when it gets to the speed round it plays just a little too fast for my liking?  it seems to play just a little too unhumanlike.

Just wondering if anyone ever planned on attempting to help us with this problem or not?

Here are some things that will help:

1) Operating system (Windows 98, 2000, ME, XP etc)--  XP
2) Browser (Internet Explorer, Netscape, AOL, Mozilla, Opera etc)--IE
3) Color setting (24 bit, 32 bit etc)-- 32 True Color
4) Screen resolution (800x600, 1024x768)-- 1024x768
5) Smooth edges of screen fonts checked or unchecked-- unchecked
6) What Java you are using--MSVM
7) Is anything at all happening when you start the program
It starts normally, But when it comes to a puzzle on hard or medium that has 6 gates in it will stops working and does nothing. Sometimes it will search for a soulution up to 3 times and then pass on that puzzle but the next puzzle with 6 gates in it it will freeze and do nothing but sit there untill I come and hit pass that puzzle and the next puzzle with 6 gates it stops again. >:( >:( >:(

It would help if you gave more detail. See below.

Please make sure to give as much information as you can when you have technical problems.

Here are some things that will help:

1) Operating system (Windows 98, 2000, ME, XP etc)
2) Browser (Internet Explorer, Netscape, AOL, Mozilla, Opera etc)
3) Color setting (24 bit, 32 bit etc)
4) Screen resolution (800x600, 1024x768)
5) Smooth edges of screen fonts checked or unchecked
6) What Java you are using
7) Is anything at all happening when you start the program

You get the idea the more information the better.

Is there anything I need to adjust to get this auto program to run continuously?  It keeps freezing and I have to click the 'Give Up' button, except that it says 'Pass' instead of 'Give Up'.  This is in the main round not in the bonus round.      :-\
