I went there one day and they told me to go to the other site and still do if I do a search on Google for something and end up at Amazon.

Wish I had known about it a few months ago when I bought a new phone and a few other bigger ticket items. I see they don't promote it at all, only doing it by word of mouth. I don't even recall where I saw it but it was just a couple days ago.

I didn't know this until the other day, but Amazon will donate .5% of your purchases to the charity of your choice. You just have to start shopping at a different URL which is smile.amazon.com. I chose a local charity to me, that I trust (there are almost a million to choose from). It isn't much, but every little bit helps and adds up.
