Awww, such beautiful birds.  I love owls.  I was almost attacked by one a few years ago.  It was a small owl, about the size of a robust pigeon, flying straight for my head from a tree branch when another owl swooped in and attacked the attacker!  They both landed on a grassy area near me and then took off.  While the first owl was dive-bombing, I kept saying, "Please, God, don't make me hurt the owl".   Close call.
