The ride in the video did not appear to have belts.  The ride I went on did not have belts and the sled was elevated at times!

I would love to do this! I'm assuming there is a seatbelt on this thing? Or are they just trusting in gravity to keep the riders in their seats?

So cool.  I did that once, many years ago.  It was such fun.  The sleds forced the rider to sit up; I would have enjoyed the "luge" experience!  I went super fast - I was a bit of a daredevil as a young'in.
