Very true. It makes no sense to me because it's a clear shot so I don't know why the auto can't do a better job

I forgot to add that with this level (8), you have to play by hand.  The auto won't complete this level in one shot.  The benefit of this level is to get it done fast so you get blue pegs quickly.  The auto won't do that.

That's what I wound up using.  It took about 50 games, I think.  All done.

If you finished an exhibit, you can play random levels within the exhibit.  You cannot choose a particular level.  If you want to play another level, you'll have to quit the game, go back to the lobby and get anothr random level. 

If you haven't finished an exhibit, you have no choice but to play the level you are on.  When you've completed it, you'll go to the next level and so on, until that exhibit is finished and then, again, you can play random levels that the game will choose.
