If you want to find players, try the chat room in the game itself.  If you want to find someone here, you'll have to PM someone and can only do that if you join the forum and get 25 posts under your belt.

Hello,

If you are still playing Canasta on Pogo, I would love to play a game or several games. I too did not know how they froze the clock but I have always "waited them out", so they leave and I win. I do not cheat and never have. Before Pogo had to change the programming I was Red. I played all the time but mostly with others that I knew who they were. Then as you said, I lost and am now at 1161 I think, a beginner. My pogo name is xxxxxxxxxx, if you want to play, send me a friend request.

So sorry this is happening to you! I've had this done to me quite a few times, now I just play the bots.

Greetings,
WOW...this is a trick from the past.  All you do is change your clock date.  In the 1990s, we just changed the date 100 years backwards.  Pogo uses your clock instead of incorporating theirs into the game...easier to program.

Thank you for the reply. My issue with bots is that they do not count towards ranking and also they are too easy. I enjoy the challenge but most people with higher rankings seem to pull this if they are loosing. When they are winning I have never seen it happen either.

I have never done this or had it done to me.  I have no idea how to do it.  Revenge is not a good answer to the problem... what about walking away and just playing the bots in the future?
