I started poking around since they fixed their stats problem and have decided that if I play on Level 2, I stay off the high score chart.  My name normally flashes the first time.  Although, Level 2 does take longer, it is more for my peace of mind.  The past couple of days, I have been choosing the popular rooms as they are more apt to have high scores in the 900-1,000 range.  I also choose the Unscensored rooms as they are too busy yapping to notice anything.  I know some of these ideas have been posted before but I am trying to get my kids to play my husband's Poppit challenge and was too lazy to go look it up.
