I am glad that you got the help that you needed and you are on your way.  This will come in handy for this week's challenge, which one of them is a slots challenge.  I also appreciate that you came back and said that this issue was resolved.  Have a great night!

Tools>Internet Options>Advanced Tab>Scroll down until you see Sun java>uncheck all boxes under Sun Java>Right under that is Microsoft VM>check the box next to JIT Compiler>click apply>click ok>close browser>Re-open browser>VM will now be in use.

I tried to download the VM--but i cant figure out how to use that instead of the Sun java :-\  ---also i just remembered---the sun java recently had me update the program--could that be what's causing the glitches??   It's now version 1.5 (build 1.5.0_04-b05)
Thanks for all the help and patience--you guys are great  O0

Momma, I just tested it. It runs fine for me. The difference between our setups is I use 1024x768 resolution and I use the Microsoft VM instead of the Sun Java. Try changing your java and see if that fixes the problem. Let me know. ;)

Java:Sun
Anything happening: the auto starts-the timer starts to run and then a box shows up (the same box as if you right click on the game screen)

Homer says:

1) Operating system (Windows 98, 2000, ME, XP etc)
2) Browser (Internet Explorer, Netscape, AOL, Mozilla, Opera etc)
3) Color setting (24 bit, 32 bit etc)
4) Screen resolution (800x600, 1024x768)
5) Smooth edges of screen fonts checked or unchecked
6) What Java you are using
7) Is anything at all happening when you start the program

You get the idea the more information the better

Hi
I'm having trouble running SS with Showbiz Slots 2--when i run it --it tries to open a new window (the same window you get when you right click on the game screen)
I am running Windows XP and using Internet Explorer--if you need more info--just let me know.

Thanks
