Also make sure the auto is in the lower right hand side of your screen.
If you have the auto too close to the corner of the game screen  it will sometimes click itself instead of clicking the pile of pieces it has stacked in lower corner.

Have you tried running it on a slower speed setting?

This auto only works on medium difficulty puzzles.

Joe is aware of some people having problems with it solving the border and he is looking into it.

For future reference about smooth edged fonts:

You can look up the 'smooth edges' setting in XP by bringing up the Display Properties (right-click over the desktop and select Properties or open Display in Control Panel). Select the Appearance tab and click the Effects pushbutton.

I suggest you make sure the 'smooth edges of fonts' setting is unchecked to eliminate font problems with autoplayers.

For further reference, use the SEARCH tab and type in the key word(s) and you will find all kinds of useful information.

I had to flatten my computer on Friday, after a fateful date with Panda anti virus.  The very first auto I loaded tonight was the Jigsaw Detector and it ran like a well oiled machine for me, with 1:24 solve times.  You need to post some computer specs if you want to be helped here.

i had trouble with this auto before it solved case#1 and now i can't get it to complete any puzzle, it will move the outer part of the puzzle around or just keep moving the same piece over and over and get nowhere
