The only thing I can think of is if you Ctrl+Alt+Del and check under the tab "Processes"...see if Whomper.exe is still running.  If it is, End Process it.  If that's not it, I'm sorry I couldn't be more help.

What is up with Whomper? Anyone else unable to delete this dam* thing. It also has a file on desktop that is a whomplist.hash file. I can't delete it. I can't delete Whomper either. One of them came with some spyware attached and I want to delete them all. I can delete all but Whomper. Help please

Here is the error message box that comes up when i try to delete it:

cannot delete whomper. make sure the disc is not full or write protected and that the file is not currently in use. This is the error message I get. \
