It's been doing this for days now.  It works fine on a relative's computer, but on mine, no such luck.

Are you having trouble with the game or the auto? We were talking about pogo's servers acting up atc.

If it's the auto I need more info.

Please make sure to give as much information as you can when you have technical problems.

Here are some things that will help:

1) Operating system (Windows 98, 2000, ME, XP etc)
2) Browser (Internet Explorer, Netscape, AOL, Mozilla, Opera etc)
3) Color setting (24 bit, 32 bit etc)
4) Screen resolution (800x600, 1024x768)
5) Smooth edges of screen fonts checked or unchecked
6) What Java you are using
7) Is anything at all happening when you start the program

You get the idea the more information the better.

No problem. Pogo seems to have problems a lot. LOL

Other members are complaining about Penguin Blocks freezing on them as well. It's likely their servers acting up. I'd try playing another game and try word whomp in the morning and see what happens. ;)

Thank you for your help anyway. Probably is a Pogo problem..

According to pogo's help files it could also be their servers causing the error. :o

I've tried that too.  I don't know what's causing this.  It worked fine with the old Word Whomp.

Try dumping your temporary internet files. My previous post is what pogo's help section suggested. It is definitely a pogo problem and not an auto problem. ;)

I'm having problems with this too.  I did as the previous post said, but am still having this problem.  Every other game works fine except for Word Whomp.

It's a pogo issue.

Try this.

"Open Internet Explorer (even if you normally use the AOL or MSN browser)
"Go to the 'Tools' menu in Internet Explorer
"Choose 'Internet Options'
"In the middle of the Internet Options window, look for the 'settings' button in the middle, under 'Temporary Internet Files'
"On the Settings screen, click the 'View Objects' Tab. This is where your browser stores the actual game applet.
"Look for any files in the list that are Pogo games. Things like 'PopFu by Pogo', 'Freecell by Pogo' and so on, and delete those.
"Click 'Yes' to confirm the deletion of each file
