what is ur speed sat on cause sometimes if u changed the speed of ur auto to medium it wiould do fine you can try that if u like it worked for me.

I ran the trail worked great so i bought the program now it will just do the outside and move the inner pieces down then just sits there.  I reported problem slowed the auto w a y down and still nothing.  i have windows xp ie sun java reg java 1024x 768 and forgot how to find my smooth edges

ok success i think ,, will have to go back an see if it works again when i re-load up,,,,,yes sandy the mouse thingy is a big deal, DON"T MOVE MOUSE :D,,, 1st mistake ,,, 2nd is it just will not run on the fastest speed setting,,, i cleared java cache an IE 6 cache, an loaded it back up , it ran 4 puzzles , but only a speed of 11 - 13 mins a games , a lil slow but better then me doing it , lol,,, i will try what ya just posted sandy an report back.   I see what the auto does ,, to bad it would not go across the bottom as it does with a piece along the top,,,  ya know top 1st then bottom, but i'm sure the programers tried to do that,,,,,, sigh,,, this is better then notta ,,,,,,,,,

You almost got it right TJ,      O0   what I did was:

I unchecked JIT complier
Closed all IE windows
Then went to control panel rechecked JIT
Reopened IE windows
Went to Jigsaw Dectective, started game, clicked start on auto and it works  3:47 on medium puzzle - auto speed on slow. I do not want to complete a puzzle to fast. I am using a laptop, so I have to make sure my mouse does not move any.



Now if I could figure Hogpile out, I would be happy I am only Rank 5 .....

Ok seen a post from sandyhook , an did as that said,, unchecked JIT compiler, rebooted , an rechecked this box,,,,,, still the same thing in IE 6 plays a few pieces an hangs,,, tryied firefox an i run through a complete puzzle,,,,,, then when it went to start the next puzzle,,,,,, i got some screen splash from the 1st puzzle an it hung on me ,,, grrrrr got to figure this out, any ideas,,,,,, and thanxs for the offer all,,, but i got to get her right ,lol ,,,, m,aybe the pro's will know when they see this ........ to be continued

Mine too. I love this auto. Once in a while it still leaves one piece of the puzzle in the beginning and has to start over. No big deal though. One thing that happens with only this auto is that I get an error that says not enough memory. I have no clue why this one and only this one does this. I clear out IE temporary files and it is fine until I get that error again. I never get this error with any other autos or anything else I do on my computer. It does this after about 30-45 minutes. Strange.  >:(
I have 2 programs on my computer that clean all temporary files and cookies. I run it every night and sometimes twice a day. So this particular error with Jigsaw is a mystery to me.   ???

same thing here i have xp and the auto seems to get stuck  or something i use both ie and firefox

Mine would do it occasionally - not make it past the drawer - but it was maybe one out of fifteen games - and this was also on Firefox (Which I found to be way faster than IE for this auto)

Ok i got your auto for stellar sweeper an it works good on this computer,,, so i figured i try jigsaw 6.3,,, hate that game,, boring,,so i DL'ED  the free trail shareware ,  booted up an it started but seemed to hang up on me.  I'm running Windows ME with IE 6 , with msjvm , with 1024 X 768 pixels an 24 bit true color, anti virus off.... I also tryied  with mozilla firefox with the newest sun java, worked better ,, really fast,,,, but hung up as well ,at the pull out draw when it transfered all the pieces over to the first board..... What to do,, i know WIN ME sux, but i hope there is a solution cuase i truly hate that game.. Thanx for the help in advance  tjr635
