Hey...
should all three of my starting pitchers play today?  how often do the stat collections rotate?  did that make any sense to any one?  I have three pitchers who are all starting today....

If they're all starting and they are good, I'd start them.

but one of them isn't good...should i wait until my other good one starts on tuesday?  how many pitchers can I start in a week?  when do stats get reset?  I am so frickin confused!

You can start 3 SP, 3 P and 2 RP each day.

Today...
Willis
Wakefield
Smoltz

I think you guys answered my question.  I just didn't want to start Wakefield (well, cause his ERA is really high) if I could only start, say, 4 pitchers all week.

I have a feeling Tim will have a good day...just wasn't sure I wanted to take the chance.

:-*  Thanks you guys...

You're welcome, Wakefield is bound to have a decent game!!

To my knowledge there is no maximum number of starts your pitchers can have in a given week.  If you got 'em, start 'em....unless they really stink you know?

There is, however, a maximum number of 'innings pitched' available to your team for the entire season.  1350 innings total for all your pitchers for the whole season.  Each position (C, 1B, 2B, etc.) also has a max number of starts per season of 162.

You can find all that stuff under the League tab on our league's home page, then 'Settings' all the way on the right.  Look around a little bit and you'll be able to find the standard rules that govern yahoo fantasy baseball leagues.  It's a pretty good resource for answering ??'s

I keep hanging in the #5 spot. Not a bad place to be. Hopefully I'll be able to make a move up later in the season. I just have to learn to pay attention to the games played and innings pitched limit.

RowdyOne

yvw Tara and hey you moved up to 3rd place woohoo!!

Now I'm beginning to think the #5 spot isn't such a good place to be.
