I'm on my 3rd or 4th copy of Yellow Brick Road now.  One of my favorite albums.  I've never caught Elton John in concert.  Now I'm going to have to...

I saw the Stones in Memphis about 10 years ago.  They did Gimme Shelter and no one could sit down for the rest of the show, cause the whole stadium was jumping up and down on the seats.

Oh my...I forgot to add a song and I was listening to it this morning while doing the list.

Gypsy by Fleetwood Mac

That is the one song that requires absolute silence while I am listening to it, Stevie Nicks has the most mesmorizing voice.  My mother can't stand her voice but my sister and I wanted to be her when we were younger.  I think my sister still wants to be Stevie, I think I may have outgrown it.

Adacia

OMG, if I had to choose a fav Fleetwood Mac song it would be tough. I think I would maybe have to go with 'Gypsy' though. I got to see Stevie Nicks in concert years ago and it was awesome! I'm only 5'6 and she is shorter than me. I used to disc jockey and a few of us snagged some backstage passes. :P

Barbara, I love alot of the songs you listed. I love the oldies so much. Brenda Russell , Piano In The Dark is just wonderful. I don't usually like sappy love songs, but a classic is a classic.

Would it be too ostentatious of me to include 'Me So Horny' by 2 Live Crew? I gotta admit I love vulgar and dirty rap songs, providing they are upbeat and have rhythm over rap. If it makes Uncle Sam frown, it usually makes me smile lol.  >:D  I've never bought anything censored.

i agree with you.  i do like ALL music.  it depends on what im doing or what mood im in as too what i listen too at any given time.

but i think my all time favorite would have to be:
(counting) flowers on the wall by the statler brothers
i have people always asking me here at home, "dont you have anything to do beside play on the computer all day and night?" or they ask me "u aint got nuttin to do, do you?"  i just play that song for them - and alter it slightly when i sing along to include pogo of course.  and they shut rite up then and some even chuckle a little.

but there is my answer.  you may not like it but u asked and i told.   8)

No, I used to be a big fan of 2 Live Crew, I'm betting the cassettes are still in the basement, as I never throw away music.  I realize that I have no particular favorite type.  I did see someone mention a song my Marilyn Manson and I have to say, I saw him in concert a couple of years ago and it was quite the experience.  I am a fan of his work, even if it is odd to a lot of people.  Everytime I am driving and some nut does something that nearly causes me to wreck my car, all I can think of is MM and this line from one of his songs, "I wasn't born with enough middle fingers."
