LOL You saw that strike out huh? Pretty bad when you don't swing the bat at all. As bad as he is he still manages to get his 30 HR's and 100 RBI's.

I was looking at some stats today to see who might be the NL MVP.

The two people who stood out to me were Beltran from the Mets and Howard for the Phillies. Their numbers are very similar but who would truly be the MVP?

In my opinion I think Howard is the MVP although you could make a strong case for Beltran as well.

Beltran plays on a better team with better players surrounding him. Take him off the Mets and they probably still win the division by 5 games or more.

Howard plays on a very average if not below average team. Take him off the Phillies and they are probably 20 games under .500

It's a tough call either way.

I think the Phillies will have to make a really good run at the wild card for Howard to be considered, but him being rookie of the year last year may help him because it would be a "feel good" story.  One year rookie of the year and the next the mvp, I'm not sure if that ever happened before.

Go Cavs!

So anyone thinks Detroit Tigers will win it all?

hades

not to sound biased but i dont think the tigers can beat the yankees in a short series.

bobby

they might be 10 up, but the sox can beat them 20 out of 25 times
