can someone tell me what a gap shot is in this game

When you shoot a group of the marbles it leaves a gap that closes up rather quick but it leaves a gap where you can shoot thru to the line of marbles behind it. This is also the way you get to the fruits hanging behind the marbles (or stones)

This was a hard challenge and the auto couldn't do it. It was a play by hand challenge. Lucky for me I kinda liked that game, lol
