LMAO @ your whistling smiley!

Foxx?  One of my favorite authors, Sharyn McCrub (southern writer) wrote a book called St. Dale about Dale senior and Nascar.  I got into the book before I realized it was about Nascar.  It was actually pretty entertaining.  Learned way more about race car drivers than I ever cared to learn, but entertaining nonetheless.

What did you learn? They turn left?
Or, "You can't have two number ones, that's eleven."
Or, "If you ain't first, you're last."
Or, "El Diablo......It means fighting Chicken in Spanish...or something."
Or, "98% of people will die sometime in their lives."

Love NASCAR esp, the cup races. There is nothing on TV on Sunday afternoons, but this weekend is the the night race a Bristol and if saw this past weeks race, there might be payback from Edwards toward Jr. Night racing is the best!

gator8_24

Night race from Bristol is on and a good time to also get a badge!

I was a huge Dale Sr fan...even stopped watching for rest of season after his death, to sad to watch after that. I do now watch, of course only because of Dale Jr. lol  I've read the posts a few I wanted to post BUT figure i would'nt engage in it, nascar people can get NASTY ....LOL  GO DALE JR!!

gator8_24

Junior is doing better, and he won the fall race at Richmond last year, which is this Sat. night and the last "race for the Chase" , race. so hope he makes it this year. Racing uinder the lights is gr8t! lol O0

Go #9!

Kahne has come so close the last couple years to making it, I'd love to finally see him in there this year.

justahumping

I would love to see one of Bill Davis' cars make it into the top 10 the rest of the year

gator8_24

yes, Kasey has the most wins this year so far and yet he's out of the top ten, Doesn't seem right!  But tmw night is the last race to get in the chase it should be a good race!

Ok, anyone see the Talladega race? esp. the last lap?  >:((  Oh boy Junior was robbed and Vickers was back pedalling,
even his teammate Jimmie Johnson didn't stick up for him.  Junior Nation is fuming tonight and doing alot of boo'g. GRRRRR!! !@#$

Jewel

Oh yes, I saw it.  !@#$ I would have loved to see Vickers do a victory lap, that would have been a sight to see.  .w.

I was at the race at Lowe's last night. Seems a long time ago after an 11 hour drive home today. But didn't stay for the whole race one it was freezing even tho I was bundled up quite well, but it was a boring race. It was all single file around the track plus they had sound problems and could not hear all the play by play.  But did watch the rest of the race from the hotel room,Plus the end of the Gator game (looked like they made many mistakes) .  The best part of the pre race and driver intros was the reception some of thje drivers got, Jeff Gordon got a few boos, Jimmie Johnson go a lot more, but Brian Vickers got a huge 'boo' from everyone at the track, it was very loud!

But I never miss a race on TV.
