Tried cheats for Pogo's Tri Peaks unsucessfully

I found the Pogocheats site just recently,  have used a couple of the cheats and been quite happy with them. However, when I tried the Tri Peaks Solitaire cheat,  my time expired on it without anything happening. I would really like to buy this cheat (if it works) but don't know how to find out if it does or how it works. How can I resolve this problem?   Oh, I had the same problem with Jigsaw Detective. I'm a lot leery of purchasing anything without knowing that it works first. Also, if anyone is wondering ... I did purchase Stoppit and it is Fantastic!
