The Lunar New Year Celebration starts February 3rd!

Mark your calendars, because an epic new four-week-long event begins on February 3rd the Lunar New Year Celebration!

As the Year of the Rat comes to a close, the Year of the Ox begins. But before all that can take place, Rat and Ox need to throw a proper celebration. You can help make it all happen by completing five special event Challenges the epic Master Challenge, plus one Challenge from each of the four weeks.

If you can complete the five event Challenges before time runs out, you'll earn a beautiful new Limited Edition Badge that brings the whole celebration to life.

The fun starts on February 3rd and all required event challenges must be completed by 11:59pm on March 2nd.

I guess this was the new year celebration Pogo was talking about.  Not the Jan. 1 New Year.

I just saw next weeks challenge ... Peggle Blast HD - Complete 38 levels this week

It might be worth buying the alternate premium challenge : Word Whomp HD - Find 40 words that start with a vowel in 2 weeks
